PRICING & CARE OPTIONS
Clear care options, explained simply.
Every care situation is different. Some families need private care quickly. Some clients may be exploring DVA-related care pathways. Others may need short-term support after hospital, respite care for a family carer, or ongoing nursing-led home care.
At Apex Nursing Services, we make the next step simple. Tell us what support is needed, and our team will explain the available care options clearly before any service begins.
-
HOW PRICING WORKS
Care is quoted around your needs.
Because care needs can vary from person to person, Apex Nursing Services does not use one fixed price for every client.
The cost of care may depend on the type of support required, the length of each visit, the frequency of visits, the level of nursing or personal care involved, and whether support is needed during standard hours, after hours, weekends or public holidays.
Before care begins, we will discuss your situation, understand what support is needed, and provide clear information about the next step.
-
PRIVATE CARE
Private care can be arranged directly.
Private care is suitable for families who want to arrange support directly, especially when care is needed quickly or when existing support is not enough.
Private care may be helpful while waiting for an assessment, arranging longer-term support, recovering after hospital discharge, or organising short-term respite for a family carer.

DVA CLIENTS
Support for the veteran community.
We welcome DVA clients, DVA Health Cards (Gold and White) are accepted as payment upon a GP referral.
If you are a DVA client, or you are helping a veteran family member arrange care, our team can discuss your situation and explain the next step in plain English.
Service access, referrals and care arrangements may depend on individual circumstances, clinical need, GP referral requirements and relevant DVA guidelines.
-
IMPORTANT INFORMATION
Clear, responsible information about DVA-related care.
Apex Nursing Services does not describe DVA-related services as free, complimentary, fully funded, or without fees.
We also do not use the Australian Government logo, DVA treatment card images, or language that suggests Apex Nursing Services is endorsed by, preferred by, employed by, or acting as an agent of DVA.
Our role is to provide clear information, respectful care, and appropriate support for eligible clients in line with relevant referral and care pathway requirements.
-
WHAT AFFECTS CARE COSTS
Your care plan determines the final quote.
Pricing can vary because each person’s care needs are different. A short personal care visit is not the same as a longer nursing visit, post-hospital support, respite care, or recurring community nursing.
When preparing a care quote or explaining the next step, our team may consider:
- The type of care required
- How often care is needed
- How long each visit may take
- Whether nursing-led support is required
- The level of personal care involved
- Whether care is short-term or ongoing
- The time and day care is required
- The location where care will be delivered
- Any additional care coordination needs
